8.29:10 A.M. - Presentation of (a) Proclamation Commending Mary Dietz, Public Health Nurse, Upon Her Retirement for her Twenty-One Years of Service; (b) Proclamation Designating the Month of October 2014 as Domestic Violence Awareness month; and (c) Proclamation Recognizing and Honoring Robert Morton Tone on the Occassion of his 100th Birthday. Clerk’s notes: (a) Supervisor Comstock read the proclamation into the record and presented it to Mary Dietz, Public Health Nurse. There were several staff members present, Katherine Lindsley and Scott De Leon spoke; (b) Supervisor Farrington read the proclamation into the record and presented it to Lake Family Resource Center Executive Director Gloria Flaherty, there were several staff members present; (c) Chair Rushing read the title of the proclamation, Supervisor Farrington will present the proclamation to Mr. Tone this coming Friday, October 17, 2014.

Clerk’s notes: The Board of Supervisors adjourned and reconvened as the Lake County Watershed Protection District Board of Directors. Water Resource Director Scott De Leon presented the item. Chair Rushing asked if there was anyone present wishing to speak on this item and the following people spoke: Dan Kelly and Betsy Cawn.
