Executive Summary
All development in Lake County is required to comply with minimum health and safety regulations. Among these regulations, the Fire Safe regulations apply to driveways, roads, and parcels. These regulations can be a challenge for our property owners to visualize. CAL FIRE Chief Wink took on this challenge and presents the guide to walk developers through the different safety requirements.
This guide will be available to the public via the Community Development Department website and will be attached to future permits, as appropriate.
We wish to extend our great appreciation to CAL FIRE for the work that has gone into this new tool.
