5.2(a) Waive the formal bidding process, pursuant to Lake County Code Section 38.2, as it is not in the public interest due to the unique nature of goods or services; and (b) Approve the Agreement between the County of Lake and Adventist Health St. Helena and Adventist Health Vallejo for the Fiscal Year 2019-20 for a contract maximum of $150,000 and authorize the Board Chair to sign the Agreement.

Clerk’s notes: Public Health Officer, Dr. Gary Pace gave an update on the Covid-19 epidemic. The Public Health Department will start drive up testing for COVID-19 today with no doctor approval needed. The department will be able to administer up to 50 tests per day. Sheriff Brian Martin and Public Works Director Scott DeLeon spoke.
