4.19:00 A.M. - EMERGENCY MEETING (a) Confirmation of Existence of a Local Emergency (Necessity for Emergency Board Meeting); (b) Consideration of Proclamation Confirming Existence of a Local Emergency (River and Ranch Fires); (c) Community meeting regarding the Mendocino Complex fires for Lake County residents with representatives requested from CalFire, Lake County Administration, Sheriff’s Office, OES, Congressman Thompson’s Office, Senator McGuire’s Office, Public Health, Red Cross, CHP, Animal Control, City of Lakeport, Lakeport Police Department, AT&T, PG&E, and Mediacom to answer questions from the community regarding the fires; and (d) Supervisor’s reports

RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Sheriff Martin, as the County Director of Emergency Services, respectfully requests that your Board confirm the existence of a local emergency by offering the attached resolution for passage.
