Clerk’s notes: Sheriff Martin introduced the item to the Board. Mary and Dave Borjon from the Sheriff's Activities League gave a PowerPoint presentation on the events and functions of their organization. Junior Giants Commissioner Dan Camacho contributed to the to the presentation and spoke. Officer Cynthia Radoumis from the Sheriff's Department also spoke. On motion of Supervisor Comstock and by vote of the Board (3 ayes, Supervisor Farrington NO), advanced the ordinance forward, as amended to May 17, 2016.

9.2Recovery Update from Staff, Assisting Agencies and/or Community Groups, Consequent to 2015 Wildland Fires Report
Clerk’s notes: County Administrative Officer Carol Huchingson reported that after the last Cobb meeting, it was decided to continue the Fire Recovery Task Force meetings. A date and location for the next meeting has not been confirmed but one possible date would be June 23, 2016 in conjunction with Senator McGuire hosting a Town Hall regarding the wildfire recovery and rebuilding efforts. Chair Brown discussed another meeting he attended in Middletown regarding the Hope City proposal to build a dormitory and bring in work crews. Dry Creek Park and Central Park are options at this time. Supervisor Comstock added that the location storing the fire related vehicles in Middletown has cleared a majority of the machinery off the property. This status will change as the clean up continues. Chair Brown asked if anyone present wished to speak and the following people spoke: Joan Moss and Deborah Walker. No one else wished to speak and the public input portion of the this item was closed.
9.3(Second Reading) Consideration of Proposed Ordinance Amending Certain Provisions of Ordinance No. 2776 Establishing the First Five Lake Commission and Trust Fund Pursuant to Proposition 10, the California Children and Families First Act of 1998. Action Item Adopted
